Required documents

For Students:

1. CV (Curriculum Vitae)

2. Copy of Passport

3. Scanned passport size photo(in good quality- 300 pix; size - 3*4 cm; file- jpg);

4. English Language Certificate

5. Motivation letter

6. Copy of the candidate’s identity card;

7. Transcript of records issued by the home institution proving that students have passed successfully at least 2 semester of their studies (translated in English);

8. Certificate from the home university confirming that the candidate is a student there (translated in English);

9. Another relevant documents (certificates of participation in different competitions, certificates of participation in another mobility programmes, etc.);

            For Professors/Lecturers

1. CV (Curriculum Vitae)

2. Work plan

3. Motivation letter

4. Copy of Passport

5. Scanned passport size photo(in good quality- 300 pix; size - 3*4 cm; file- jpg);

6. Other relevant documents (certificates of participation in different competitions, certificates of participation in another mobility programmes, etc.);

These documents are to be sent in PDF format to your home University (International Office) and they will, in turn, send them to the following address: laura.grike@turiba.lv

Application Procedure

The International Office of the Turiba University will contact you by e-mail providing you with a password in order to make your application on-line through the University web site.

Eligibility criteria

For Students

1. Students at the undergraduate level;

2. Students who have successfully completed 2 semesters from their bachelor degree;

3. Students who study in Communication field

4. (ex: Journalism) ;

5. Students with good academic record;

6. Students who are highly motivated.

For Professors/Lecturers

1. Language skills

2. Communicative skills

Language Requirements

Exchange students are expected to demonstrate English proficiency corresponding to at least B1 level of the Common European Language Framework of Reference.

Selection Process

The home university will provide a pre-selection of candidates according to the following criteria:

           For Students

1. Average grade, the consistency of the proposed activities with the student’s university degree.

2. Language skills

3. Any other information indicated by the student in the application (other learning experiences, specific academic interest, vulnerable socio-economic situation, etc.)

For Professors/Lecturers

1. Language skills

2. Any other information indicated by the applicant (other mobility exchange experiences, specific academic interest, etc.)

3. Work plan

Final selection

Final selection will be done by the International Cooperation Office at Turiba University.
